Catalogue from the Winter Antiques Show held in New York city in January 2008 and then in Palm Beach shortly afterwards. In March the exhibition was shown in Maastricht at the European Fine Art Fair. Finer had their shop in Duke Street, St. James's London run by his sons.

There are many exceptional pieces, each one unique at that time, and Finer felt that this collection of items, which represents thousands of miles of traveling and may hours of negotiating - often with extremely reluctant vendors - ensures that this is one of the very best catalogues that they have ever produced.
